Pink Dolphin
Sometimes we say someone is a gift in our life, not because they are especially valuable. That “gift” might be inexpensive, or even a little worn. What truly matters is the growth and change they bring into your life.
Just like the echidna in the photo. I picked it up from an OP shop for only 50 cents. But it seems to have a bit of magic—almost as if it can quietly pass your imperfections on to the next person who receives it.
Just thinking about it makes me feel pretty good.
Today my echidna gift finally worked its magic. You covered your eyes and ran away. Thank you — you’ve finally disappeared from my world, after a whole year. Now I know how to stand steadily in the uncertain.
Goodbye Echidna
Goodbye Sunday
Farewell to who I used to be
I've been searching for liberty
I've been searching for orientation
I've been searching for veracity
I've been searching for equanimity
In the rain
I thought I would find it in the sound of the rain
Now I know - only by seeing its reflections in the rain
Can it be felt
Goodbye Echidna
Goodbye Sunday
Farewell to who I used to be
Your heart is like dust under the lamplight
Blurred, untouchable
Goodbye Echidna
Goodbye Sunday
Farewell to who I used to be
I saw a pink dolphin
Swimming with a school of fish in the ocean
